Krizia L. Toledo was born and raised in South Florida where she attended Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory and discovered her calling to practice law. After high school, Ms. Toledo attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media Communications and Sociology. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, Ms. Toledo enrolled in Nova Southeastern University – Shephard Broad Law Center, where while completing her Juris Doctor, she served as the 2L Representative and Secretary on the executive board of the Student Bar Association. Ms. Toledo was also involved in several other organizations including Tort Law Society, Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Cuban American Bar Association and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. During law school, Ms. Toledo was a Pro Bono Intern for the Special Prosecutions Unit at the State Attorney’s Office of the 17th Judicial Circuit and she clerked for a prominent Federal Criminal Defense and Appellate attorney in Miami, Florida.
Upon her admission to the Florida Bar, Ms. Toledo began practicing in the area of Family Law, including domestic violence, and continues to successfully assist clients in navigating through difficult times. Ms. Toledo is fluent in English and Spanish.
On a personal note, Ms. Toledo has been an avid volunteer for the American Cancer Society since 2006 and actively participates in the women’s group at her church. She also enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, boating, and gardening.
